I tried on several pairs of glasses around where I live and realised that some of them had "made in italy", while others had nothing.I contacted a rep at luxottica group, the owners of ray-ban for clarification. Apparently, these cockpit 3362 glasses are made in china and are supposed to have the "made in china' imprinted on them. Other models are made in italy so you should check out with the rep if need be.Its amazing that the reputable optical shops at the malls where i live are possibly selling fakes and at a premium too.Anyway, i wld advise anyone wanting to buy a pair of sunglasses to go try it out at your local optical shops before purchase because what may look nice in a picture may not look good on you for several reasons such as skin colour, nose bridge etc.These cockpit glasses are great for people with smaller faces whereby a conventional aviator would look weird or obstruct the cheeks.
